The statute of limitations may not run until two years after they are considered an adult.\u00a0 The problem with waiting this long is that may be difficult to obtain records or solicit relevant witness testimony.\u00a0 In addition, a long delay could make investigation difficult, if not impossible.Birth Injuries: If there is an allegation that a child was injured at birth, there are different time restrictions than stated above.
